ORIENT STAR ANNOUNCES TWO SOPHISTICATED NEW ADDITIONS TO ITS CLASSIC COLLECTION
ORIENT STAR announces two sophisticated new additions to its Classic collection, featuring an eloquent fusion of in-house manufactured movements and aesthetic flair.
Both new designs incorporate the meticulously executed in-house Calibre 7, created by ORIENT STAR experts in Japan to be reliable, accurate, technically superb and visually exciting for the modern man. Visible though the exhibition case back, the Calibre F7 is highly-polished with diamond-cut detailing for a radiant, light-reflecting finish.
A creative colour contrast is achieved through electric blue screw heads, yellow gold-plated stainless steel and a red artificial ruby. The new ORIENT STAR Semi Skeleton delivers this pioneering craftsmanship through the vehicle of a 40 mm stainless steel case and hand-sewn crocodile leather strap. Its detailed design includes a trio of dial textures, Roman numerals, manually-curved leaf hands and the iconic ORIENT STAR semi skeleton that offers a glimpse into the movement beneath.
Together these overlapping elements create a threedimensional dial effect, enhanced with dual-curved sapphire crystal glass. The movement’s 40-hour power reserve is artfully displayed at the 12 o’clock position with a sleek power reserve indicator that has become iconic of the ORIENT STAR aesthetic.
The ORIENT STAR Semi Skeleton is available in three sophisticated colourways: stainless steel with a white dial and black leather strap; stainless steel with a blue dial and blue leather strap; and finally, a yellow gold-plated stainless steel case with a cream dial and brown leather strap.
Following years of research and development, ORIENT STAR is proud to produce innovative timepieces that offer a true taste of Japanese craftsmanship. The ORIENT STAR Mechanical Moonphase is one such example.
Its mechanical in-house Calibre F7X62 reflects an exceptionally rare achievement in watchmaking: the combination of a power reserve indicator, semi-skeleton and moonphase function housed within a single 41 mm stainless steel case. Design details include a trio of dial textures, three-dimensional and overlapping subdials, manually-curved leaf hands and dual-curved sapphire crystal.
A beautifully decorated moonphase disc at the 6 o’clock position is enhanced with a date index that offers extra reliability and function. Roman numeral hour markers, a power reserve indicator and the recognisable ORIENT STAR logo complete the watch’s striking aesthetic. The ORIENT STAR Mechanical Moonphase is available in classic stainless steel with a white dial, blue hands and a black leather strap or stainless steel with a midnight blue dial and matching blue leather strap.
